Bangalore, October 20, 2022: The first-ever Offline edition of Triton 2022, a unique two-day interschool fest organised by the student council team of Ekya School ITPL, saw a tremendous response. Triton 2022 is a debut Interschool Fest hosted by Ekya school ITPL. It was organised to bring schools together, provide new opportunities to the students and showcase their talents in academic and non-academic activities. Multiple schools acclaimed this event as the competitions held here were innovative and future-oriented. Triton 2022 was inaugurated by Ms Jyothi Menon, Head of School, Ekya ITPL.

This event witnessed participation from 22 schools across Bangalore, with more than 200 students registering for various competitions starting from Treble Cleff (Solo Indian, Solo Western and Group music competitions) to Du Coeur (Poetry Competition) etc. However, the highlights of the two-day event was the inter-school contest called PITCH Please, inspired by Shark Tank, Aqeuorial, and Fashion Event – the theme of which was Sea and water as the name of the event TRITON refers to ‘God of the Seas’ and Neighborhood Picasso, an Art event of Triton. The event also featured an art competition, where students represented their emotions with ink. The two-day event concluded with Footloose (dance competition), followed by the band ‘Ace of Spades’ performance during the grand finale. Ace of Spades was the icing on the cake. They performed great foot-tapping numbers, and the students thoroughly enjoyed it.

Speaking about Triton 2021, Dr Tristha Ramamurthy, Founder & Managing Director of Ekya Schools and Provost CMR University, said, “It is a very proud moment for the institution. Each aspect of the event was given adequate attention, and students ensured a smooth activity flow. We congratulate all the participants and the students who won and outshone peers in their respective fields.”
