New Delhi, August 31,  2019: Indian School of Business & Finance (ISBF), a Featured Teaching Institution (FTI) of The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), celebrated its Graduation and Awards Ceremony 2019. Prof. Paul Kelly, Dean, University of London Programmes at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), delivered the keynote address at the India Islamic Culutral Centre, New Delhi on Ausgust 31, 2019. A total of 17 students achieved either a First Class or a Distinction.

Rohini Kakkar and Shriya Subramaniam were awarded the prestigious Summer School scholarship to LSE this year. The event was attended by 100+ students of the class of 2019, along with their parents and guardians. 

Prof. Paul Kelly has extensive experience of working with students internationally as well as in India and has authored proclaimed books like British Political Theory in the Twentieth Century &Political Thinkers: From Socrates to The Present, as well as publishing in contemporary political philosophy in areas such as social justice and multiculturalism. He also held the responsibility of Pro-Director of education at LSE until summer 2018. This is the third consecutive year, Prof Kelly visited ISBF for their Graduation Ceremony. He has nearly three decades of research and academic experience, with publications in several reputed and peer reviewed journals to his name. Prof. Kelly, Dr. Jitin Chadha, Founder and Director, and Dr.Tayal, Dean Academics, ISBF, presented the graduating students with their respective degrees and awards. 

While congratulating graduating students, Prof. Paul Kelly during his keynote address to students said, “It’s my great pleasure to be here to address you and to be here to celebrate with you, on this most special day. It is a great pleasure to be back here with the ISBF Graduants third year in a row. It is an event that I particularly enjoy.” Talking further about the ISBF-LSE partnership he added “The University of London and LSE have now been partners with ISBF for 13 years and we continue to value that mutually beneficial relationship. We hope it will grow and develop further, and trust that your successes will contribute to that by showing further students as well as employers and graduate schools the benefits of that relationship and of studying for the University of London programmes at ISBF.”

Addressing the graduating students, Dr. Jitin Chadha said, “As University of London and ISBF alumni, you have now joined the ranks of achievers and global leaders. The entire ISBF fraternity is very proud of you. In over 13 years of ISBF’s existence, our endeavor has been to prepare students for various careers and life paths. Several ISBF graduates over the years have successfully been accepted for masters program in leading international and prominent Indian Institutions. Some of these students have entered these prestigious institutions with the honor of scholarship, based on their academic performance here. Many of our students got placed at organisations of repute or started their own ventures.” As a final piece of advice to graduating students Dr. Chadha further added, “I urge you to work hard and continue inculcating the habit of making uncertainty your friend”.
