Team ZENBOT from Orchids The International School secures 2nd runner-up place in the Sumo Bot competition at TechnoXian 2024, a global robotics championship.

Team ZENBOT comprising of grade 8 students-Vaibhav Sukumar, Krithik M, and S. Kavin Pranav demonstrated exceptional robotics skills, designing and optimizing their robot to outmaneuver opponents from over 50 countries.

As a reward for their achievement, the team was awarded medals, certificates, and a cash prize of Rs. 25,000

Bangalore, September 02, 2024:  Team ZENBOT from Orchids The International School, Horamavu campus, Bangalore clinched victory in the Sumo Bot competition at the recently held TechnoXian 2024, the world’s largest Robotics Championship, solidifying their place among the best young innovators globally. Team ZENBOT comprising of Grade 8 students Vaibhav Sukumar, Krithik M, and S. Kavin Pranav secured the 2nd Runner-up place in the Sumo BOT category, showcasing exceptional mechanical design and programming skills that allowed them to outmaneuver their international opponents. Recognizing their achievement on this global stage, team ZENBOT was awarded medals, certificates, and a cash prize of Rs. 25,000 for their outstanding performance. TechnoXian 2024 saw unprecedented participation with over 50,000 students from 5,000 schools and colleges across 50 participating countries.
