Only candidates who will be able to clear the cut-off of JEE Main will be allowed to participate in JEE Main counselling procedure. Every year JEE Main counselling process is done by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). This year seat allotment procedure for JEE Main 2019 will be done in the month of June 2019.

JEE Main counselling process 2019 will commence only after the JEE Main 2019 results are officially announced. The results for JEE Main 2019 will be out on 31st January 2019 for January session and on 30th April 2019 for April session. JEE Main 2019 Counselling Process

The counselling process of JEE Main 2019 is divided into six further steps. In order to obtain a seat in top-notch engineering colleges, you need to follow all the important steps of the counselling process which are as follows:

1. Online Registration– The first step to participate in JEE Main counselling process is to register yourself on the official website of JoSAA. Fill up the credentials asked on the website and click continue in order to register yourself for counselling and seat allotment procedure.

2. Locking and Filling the Choices Online-In this step, you need to look for your preferable college and fill your choices in the form. After making your selection of the colleges you need to submit your choices.

3. Provisional Seat Allotment-The allotment of the colleges will be done on the seat availability in the concerned Institute. Your choices will be kept for consideration.

4. Acceptance of Seat and Fee Payment- You need to pay an amount of fee for the seat booking during the counselling time of JEE Main 2019. The seat acceptance fee will be Rs 20,000 for reserved categories and Rs 45,000 for general categories. You can either pay the fee through e-challan or SBI net banking.

5. Report at the reporting centre- After the fee payment, you need to report at the reporting centre. You must carry all the vital documents at the time of reporting. The verification of documents by the reporting centre will confirm your seats.

What documents to carry at the time of JEE Main 2019 Admission?

Carry all the original documents with a complete set of self-attested photocopies. The list of important documents which you will require at the time JEE Main counselling are:

Three Passport Size Photographs (same as the one uploaded in JEE Main 2019 registration form)

Due to some technical faults, this can happen. In such a case the amount deducted will be transferred to the bank account in the next 7-10 working days. Normally the bank takes this much time to credit the amount back into your account.

Q. The payment was successful but it still shows ‘Buy Now’ or not showing any videos on my dashboard? What should I do?

At times, there may be a slight delay in your payment reflecting on your EasyShiksha dashboard. However, if the problem is taking longer than 30 minutes, please let us know by writing to us at info@easyshiksha.com from your registered email id, and attach the screenshot of the payment receipt or transaction history. Soon after verification from the backend, we will update the payment status.
