JEE Main 2019 Counselling Process
The counselling process of JEE Main 2019 is divided into six further steps. In order to obtain a seat in top-notch engineering colleges, you need to follow all the important steps of the counselling process which are as follows:
1. Online Registration– The first step to participate in JEE Main counselling process is to register yourself on the official website of JoSAA. Fill up the credentials asked on the website and click continue in order to register yourself for counselling and seat allotment procedure.
2. Locking and Filling the Choices Online-In this step, you need to look for your preferable college and fill your choices in the form. After making your selection of the colleges you need to submit your choices.
3. Provisional Seat Allotment-The allotment of the colleges will be done on the seat availability in the concerned Institute. Your choices will be kept for consideration.
4. Acceptance of Seat and Fee Payment- You need to pay an amount of fee for the seat booking during the counselling time of JEE Main 2019. The seat acceptance fee will be Rs 20,000 for reserved categories and Rs 45,000 for general categories. You can either pay the fee through e-challan or SBI net banking.
5. Report at the reporting centre- After the fee payment, you need to report at the reporting centre. You must carry all the vital documents at the time of reporting. The verification of documents by the reporting centre will confirm your seats.
