Dr. Nidhi Chauhan, Assistant Professor, Amity Institute of Nanotechnology (AINT), Amity University Uttar Pradesh (AUUP) has been listed amongst the top 2% of Stanford University’s World Scientists List. Dr. Chauhan is an eminent figure and devoted researcher in the field of Nanotechnology and Sensing Technology for Biomedical applications.

The list has been prepared by Professor John Ioannidis, Stanford University, USA, and published by Elsevier BV, a Netherlands-based company. The selection committee shortlisted the researchers across the globe on the basis of career-long data and single-year impact. This prestigious list standardized the information on the basis of H-index, citations, co-authorship adjustment, HM-index, and another database. Dr. Nidhi has been selected two consecutive times in a row, in the field of Analytical Chemistry in this prestigious list. A Ph.D. Gold Medalist and Shakuntala Amir Chand Awardee from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Dr. Nidhi has been working in this area for the last 10 years. She has published more than 100 research articles in high indexed international journals and has more than 15 patents (i10-index: 56, H-index: 30, and total citation: 2831). World Scientists List She has also worked with Professor Barry J. Marshall, an eminent Nobel Laureate in the area of sensor development for H. pylori detection.

Currently, she is playing several roles as Principal Investigator (PI) in several projects funded by Science Education Research Board (SERB), Department of Biotechnology (DBT), and Department of Science & Technology (DST). Additionally, she is an active member of the American Chemical Society (ACS), Society of Biological Chemists (SBC), and The Indian Science Congress Association, Kolkata. Apart from the above, she is also the Managing Editor of ‘Advanced Materials Proceedings’ and a Guest Editor of the special issue of ‘MDPI Molecules’. Her area of interest majorly includes the fabrication of on-spot sensors for the detection of neonatal sepsis, cancer, diabetes and recreational drugs.
