Upon completion of the four-month training course out of a state-of-the-art practical training center customized by TCFM, the upskilled alumni are in the process of receiving job placements within Embassy Group and its partner organizations. 27 former-Government School students were awarded their certificates of completion from Aditya Virwani, Chief Operating Officer, Embassy Group.

Aditya Virwani, COO (Chief Operating Officer), Embassy Group, said, Embassy has been supporting Government Schools since 2012. As we look towards the future, we have shifted our focus towards extending support for our students after they leave our adopted Government Schools. This program, curated with the invaluable assistance of TCFM and Mentric Solutions, will support our nation’s efforts to drive inclusive growth, creating greater social equity and equal opportunities for all. After the students complete this course, Embassy and our NGO partner, Colours of Life, will be there to support them with any assistance that they may require and in placing them at relevant, stable jobs.”

Pradeep Lala, Managing Director & CEO, Embassy Services Pvt. Ltd., said, “The fast growing FM sector in India requires youth who are educated and skilled in the profession. Since the sector largely contributes to employment of the bule-collar workforce, it is our responsibility as a leading IFM organization to provide opportunities to our youth. Not many of them understand that FM can be a great career choice, and we want change that perception. Initiatives such as these are just the start to enabling the success of our sector and nation at large.”

To create a strong network with the means of connecting students to opportunities after they pass out from school, Embassy and its NGO Partner, Colours of Life, founded an alumni program in 2017 called the Colours of Life Academy (COLA). COLA was meant for students who have graduated, or left Embassy adopted Government Schools but would like assistance in terms of fees for higher studies, extra tuitions, mentorship and career guidance. As part of the program, regular meetings and webinars are conducted to educate and counsel students on different options for their future careers, of which TCFM was a regular participant.
