Mumbai: The Department of Mass Media, KC College Kishinchand Chellaram College, will be organising its fourth Media Summit on February 20, 2017. The theme for this year’s international media conference is Glocalization – Media Beyond Borders. The keynote speaker for the conference is Dr Sue Sudbury who is a documentary filmmaker and senior lecturer in the Faculty of Media and Communication at Bournemouth University, England.

Talking about the conference, Dr Manjula Nichani, Principal, KC College, said, “Our institution strongly believes in exploring avant-garde methods to teach our students. This year’s conference theme is relevant to the present scenario in media, where global meets local. It will see several academicians, industry experts and researchers from various disciplines who will present their views and ideas on the conference theme. This will further help in contributing to the development and education for the participants and students.”
