From total of 1066 students, only 82 were selected to take KCMET Scholarship to home for this year. This scholarship will help these students in completing their post-graduation at abroad. This year scholarship is tuned to be of 2.9 Crore.
‘The shortlisted candidates included 23 students who had graduated from the IITs, and the balance were from other premier educational institutes including BITS Pilani, SRCC, the National Law Schools, Symbiosis, St. Xaviers, Sir JJ College of Architecture and NID. The candidates had secured admission to the highest-ranking universities overseas such as Harvard, Stanford, Columbia, Carnegie Mellon, UC Berkeley, Pennsylvania, Oxford, LSE & Cambridge. The scholars will be pursuing their post-graduation in subjects ranging from Computer Science, Engineering, MBA, Law, Public Policy and Economics,’ said the official release from KCMET.
Anand Mahindra, Chairman, Mahindra Group said in a written statement, “It’s heartening to see the consistent rise in quality and number of applications we are receiving year-on-year for the scholarships.
