Smita Jain, who is recently appointed as the Director Master in Global Luxury Goods & Services Management, at SP Jain School of Global Management, holds over 7 years of experience in Luxury education across dynamic markets such as Europe, Middle East & India. Luxury Coach and trainer with specialised focus on training for luxury goods and services. Specialised Expertise in Curriculum Design, Branding & Strategic Luxury Management Programs, Luxury Training & Pedagogy & Corporate Partnerships.
She had been the Director at FAD Institute of Luxury Fashion & Style where she has been for the last 6 years.
She headed 3 campuses across Dubai, Mumbai & Pune managing several professional and postgraduate programs in Luxury Brand Management and Fashion Business. She has also been the key person in designing the curriculums across all campuses and maintains a strong faculty network across the globe.
Apart from being one of the core faculty in Luxury training at the Institute across the campuses, her other key engagement area at FAD was also to spearhead the Luxury Fashion & Style Conclave initiated by the institute in partnership with leading companies to provide a platform of knowledge for emerging talents, the luxury fashion and style conclave is an annual event where she would bring together experts from within these fields to share their extensive knowledge to both students and industry professionals over interactive panel discussions, wherein she has both managed the platform and engaged with industry as a panel moderator.
She also brings on board an extensive and diverse educational knowledge with a background in overseas education, from doing her Bachelors in Design from Raffles University, Masters in Fashion Business with an honour’s distinction from Esmod Paris, France (Globally Ranked Fashion Business School) and an MBA in Luxury Brand Management with an honour’s distinction from IFA Paris in France and China. She is now completing her PhD in Management in the field of Luxury and Strategy from ISCTE-IUL (Portugal) ranked by Financial Times.
