Hyderabad, May 04, 2023: Round Table India’s local Table START (Secunderabad Twin Area Round Table)-148 and Local Circle of Ladies Circle of India STALC (Secunderabad Twin Area Ladies Circle)-151 inaugurated school facilities and infrastructure they together created at MPUPS Maktha Antharam Village in Bibinagar Mandal and located in the outskirts of Hyderabad.

Two classrooms, one toilet block and a staff room and a Head Master room were constructed at the cost of Rs 26 lakhs.  These were created with financial support from Shri Durga Prasad Dhanuka Charitable Trust, informed Round Table in a press note issued in the city today.

The infrastructure and facilities were inaugurated by Mr Abhishek and Ms Mayuri of Shri Durga Prasad Dhanuka Charitable Trust in a function held  on Wednesday on the school premises at MPUPS Maktha Antharam village shared Mr Russell Zaheer

Dr SV Raju, Headmaster, and the President of India Award Winner said, the school is spread over 2 acres of land and has 130 students. It is an English Medium School. Currently, it has 1st to 8th classes.  It has got permission to start 9th and 10th from next academic year. When he came to the school ten years ago it had just 56 strength.  He urged Round Table India to provide digital equipment for the benefit of the students.

Round Table India under its initiative Freedom Through Education with P & G Shiksha has been building schools and classrooms and creating school infrastructure. It has so far in the last 25 years since the initiative was announced constructed well over 7890 classrooms, and executed 3347 projects. The infrastructure built impacted 8.67 million children in India.

The project chairman Veeshan Guptha said Round Table India initiated Freedom Through Education (FTE) in 1998 and is building schools in India to give disadvantaged kids an education. Our goal is to exterminate illiteracy in India.
