Nokia X7, the Chinese edition of what is expected to become the Nokia 7.1 Plus globally, has gone official in the Asian country. Launched by HMD International on Tuesday, the Nokia X7 is the latest from Nokia’s X set of smartphones that share a broad screen notch, Nokia branding around the bottom chin, vertically stacked pair of dual rear cameras, along with a rear-mounted circular fingerprint sensor. HMD Global claims that an Android Pie update for your Nokia X7 is arriving shortly.

Nokia X7 price 

Nokia X7 price has apparently been put at CNY 1,699 (approximately Rs. 18,000) for its 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage version, CNY 1,999 (about Rs. 21,200) for the one with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage, then CNY 2,499 (approximately Rs. 26,500) for its most moderate 6GB RAM/ 128GB inbuilt storage version. The phone has been found in Black Blue, Night Red, Night Black, and Magic Night Silver color options in China. 

As stated earlier, the Nokia X7 is expected to launch as Nokia 7.1 Plus globally

The Nokia X7 or the Nokia 8.1 comes with a 6.18-inch HDR enabled IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 2340 x 1080, offering an 18.7:9 aspect ratio with 2.5D curved tempered glass security. 

The phone offers a premium build quality using a metallic mid-frame and a glass sandwich design. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 is your chipset that forces the smartphone, which makes the Nokia 8.1, among the first smartphones to start in India together with the Qualcomm’s 700 tier chipset with improved CPU and GPU performance compared to the Qualcomm’s 600 tier chipset. 

The Nokia 8.1 includes either 4/6 GB RAM with 64/128 GB internal storage using a micro SD card slot for additional storage expansion with double SIM card capacity with dual LTE and VoLTE support. 

The Nokia 8.1 includes a “Zeiss” branded double camera set up on the back with a 12 MP primary sensor with 1.4-micron pixel size and optical image stabilization with a 13 MP fixed attention sub sensor. On the front, the apparatus has a 20 MP selfie camera. 

The device houses a 3500 mAh Li-ion battery with support for 18W rapid charging via USB kind C jack, along with the smartphone also includes a committed 3.5 mm headphone jack as well. This is also the first Nokia smartphone to run on Android 9 Pie right from the box. 

The base variant of the Nokia X7 or the Nokia 8.1 using 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage retails in China to get 1699 Yuan (Rs 17,500), and the smartphone is expected to be priced around Rs 18,000 in India.
