DPS Raj Nagar Extension organised its Investiture Ceremony, an event that bestowed leadership responsibilities upon the newly elected members of the Student Council for the academic year 2023-24. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Brig. Salabh Sonal, Group Commander, NCC Group Headquarters, Ghaziabad, as the Chief Guest, and Mrs. Santosh Bansal, Pro-Vice Chairperson, DPS Raj Nagar Extension, as the Guest of Honour.

The ceremony commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp. The newly elected Student Council members- the Head Boy, Head Girl, Sports Captains, House Captains, and other Prefects were conferred with their badges by the honorable Principal and other dignitaries. They took an oath to uphold the school motto with integrity and commitment.

Ms. Pallavi Upadhyaya, Principal, DPS Raj Nagar Extension, said, “Leadership is best inculcated from a young age and we hope that our student council members will take up the responsibilities in the best of their capacities to become the ideal leaders. I congratulate all the members who passed all the interviews and proved to be worthy of the positions they have grabbed in the council.” Brig. Salabh Sonal delivered an encouraging address, congratulating the newly appointed council members and urging them to lead with impartiality, honesty, unity, discipline, and morality.

The talented singers and dancers of DPSRNE made the event vibrant. Expressing gratitude on behalf of the Student Council, the Head Boy and the Head Girl delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks to the school management, teachers, parents, and fellow students for their constant support and encouragement.
