Xiaomi established a new series in China on Monday with the Mi Play function as the first smartphone to kick off it. This brand-new Mi Play series attracts many firsts to get a Xiaomi smartphone, the most striking of which will be the waterdrop-style top-notch display. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 SoC and sports a gradient finish on its glass-like back. Like some of the newest Xiaomi telephones, the Mi Play also sports a dual camera module at the back. In the time of launching, there was only a 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage version unveiled. Since then, however, two new 6GB RAM versions (one with 64GB inbuilt storage, the other with 128GB inbuilt storage) have arrived in the scene, complete with costs.

The Xiaomi Mi Play price for the 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant was set at CNY 1,299 (approximately Rs. 13,200), whereas the 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant is listed at CNY 1,599 (roughly Rs. 16,300). The 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant can be found in Black, Dream Blue, and Twilight color options while the other 6GB variant is available in Black, Dream Blue, and Twilight Gold. To recall, the Xiaomi Mi Play 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant has been priced at CNY 1,099 (approximately Rs. 11,000) and made available in Black, Fantasy Blue, and Twilight Gold choices along with a gradient finish. It was established in China on Monday.

While the foundation 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant can be purchased right away, the 6GB RAM variants have an arrival notice button. This means it isn’t now on sale but Xiaomi will inform you when it becomes available. These 6GB RAM variants of this Mi Play were spotted on the source code of this official Xiaomi site by IT Home.

Specifications of Xiaomi Mi Play 6GB RAM

The Mi Play includes a 5.84-inch full-HD+ (1080×2280 pixels) display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. It weighs 150g and packs in a 3,000mAh battery. For images, it has an IMG GE8320 GPU that’s clocked at 680MHz. There’s 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and buyers may select between 64GB and 128GB of storage That’s further afield through the microSD card slot

The AI dual camera setup on the Mi Play is composed of a 12-megapixel primary detector along with a 2-megapixel thickness detector. It has an 8-megapixel selfie shooter that is also capable of taking HDR shots.
