About the Indian School of Hospitality

The vision of the Indian School of Hospitality (ISH) is to be India’s leading provider of international hospitality, culinary and executive education. Founded by industry veteran and former Managing Director and Regional Vice President of Starwood Hotels and Resorts South Asia, Dilip Puri, the Indian School of Hospitality aims to provide an international level of hospitality education in India and develop exceptional talent for tomorrow’s world.

ISH has entered into a strategic partnership with Lausanne Hospitality Consulting (LHC) in preparation for an academic certification by Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL), the global leaders in hospitality education, to offer a unique learning experience to students by way of an education philosophy and curriculum that reflects the reality and impact of globalisation and a rapidly evolving hospitality scape.

With a globally benchmarked curriculum, a faculty of qualified learning facilitators and industry experts as well as a cutting-edge corporate campus that is designed with a unique ‘high tech for high touch’ philosophy, ISH aims to deliver an education that is tailor made to provide for the needs of today’s student, and helps prepare them for the trends and changes of tomorrow’s hospitality, travel, tourism and allied industries.

The Campus

The Indian School of Hospitality will be housed within a commercial campus that boasts state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities. The design philosophy of the campus is to provide students with an environment that encourages learning, collaboration, and innovation.

Located on the main National Highway 8, within the Vatika India Next Township, the campus has excellent connectivity to Delhi Airport, as well as the main retail, commercial and residential areas of Gurugram and Delhi. ISH has also partnered with the Vatika Group to ensure high quality and affordable accommodation for students within the township itself.

The campus, which is under development, will be ready by May 2018, in time for the first intake of students in August, 2018.

Programmes

The core academic programmes being offered at ISH are a Four Year Hospitality Management Programme and a Four Year Programme in Culinary Arts. The education structure at ISH is aimed at providing the ideal foundation for managerial and leadership development, strategic thinking-leveraging both macro and micro perspectives- as well as building emotional and intellectual intelligence.
