MakeMyTrip CEO Denies Hotel Bookings Ban

Online travel portal MakeMyTrip on Wednesday denied reports that claimed that hotel bookings on its own platform in addition to around Goibibo have been banned, stressing that”it’s business as usual”. 

A message on societal websites maintained that Goibibo and MakeMyTrip were banned. 

According to MakeMyTrip CEO, all reservations on its own platforms were being honored. 

“There’s misinformation being spread in societal websites about hotel bookings on MakeMyTrip and Goibibo not being respected. 

“We continue to run our business as normal, with approximately one lakh room nights booked just yesterday our platforms,” he added. 

The reaction of magow came in the background of some resort spouses in Ahmedabad expressing concerns with Goibibo and MakeMyTrip in their commercial terms. 

“We’ve about 55,000 domestic hotels and 500,000 international resorts as our partners and we are proud and blessed to have this wide network of resorts to serve all accommodation needs of our customers,” said the CEO. 

“We are honoring all bookings on our platform across cities, making certain that there isn’t any hassle for any single client who books on MakeMyTrip and Goibibo,” Magow added. 

Based on MD Prashanth Aroor and CEO, Intellistay Hotels, they stay available to book through MakeMyTrip and Goibibo. 

“We continue to work closely together during this period of market confusion to ensure that all bookings were honored at all our hotels and customers are not inconvenienced at all,” he explained.
