The Future Establishment School, founded in 1981 in Kolkata, is a K-12 school. It adheres to the Chamber’s timetable for Indian School Endorsement Assessments. It is guided by Sri Aurobindo and Mira Alfassa’s norms. The Board for the Indian School Endorsement Tests prepares the Training for students (ICSE – Year 10) and (ISC – Year 12) assessments (CISCE). TFFS was advanced in 1981 by Joya Mitter (1936-1999), a Kolkata-based social activist and reformer, with the guidance and counsel of P.K. Bhattacharya (1905-1984), Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Pondicherry’s trustee. The couple was acquainted with Lakshmi Devi, a Sri Aurobindo supporter. Lakshmi Devi gave her rambling home in Tollygunge, Kolkata to the ashram, which welcomed Joya Mitter to set up TFS on its premises. Joya Mitter filled in as authoritative head of the school in its early stages and followed the ancient practice of the gurukul system of education. After her demise in 1999, Ranjan Mitter was delegated as the head of the school. 

The Future Establishment School is a co-educational day school in English Medium. It is based out of Kolkata and partners with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE). It offers programmes and classes from nursery to class XII. The school trusts in pieces of training that prepare a youngster to develop into an autonomous individual. This school is established on the standards of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother. It offers comprehensive training involving the physical, mental, mystic and profound parts of youngsters. 

For students, the Future Establishment School provides well-ventilated and open study halls, science and computer labs, and a well-stocked library. In addition, there is an open jungle gym for kids and an elite games foundation. 

The Future Establishment School, which is affiliated with CISCE in New Delhi, prepares students for the ICSE board assessment and the ISC examinations for class X and class XII, respectively. At the ISC level, it offers schooling from infancy to class XII with Humanities, Business, and Science programmes. The school employs an approach for obtaining knowledge that is based on expertise. It employs a wide range of symphonies and faculty members for the same.

Students have extended interests in extracurricular activities like craftsmanship, art, dance, vocal and instrumental music, entertainment, yoga, and tests. Pageant of Learning 

A ‘Learning Pageant’ – a presentation of learning – is used to display children’s schoolwork. Models and charts are used to demonstrate the skills and concepts that are being developed. Acting, music, and action songs are all used in role plays. 

Children interact with guests, work on puzzles, do experiments, and use a variety of educational instruments to demonstrate what they have learned.

2. To create an environment and atmosphere that provides inspiration and opportunities for the physical, vital, cerebral, psychic, and spiritual components of personality to be exercised and developed.
