Student Perspective for Internship
In this blog, I am going to talk about the Student Perspective for Internship. In my previous blog I had talk about how internship helps students to shape their Future. An internship provides valuable experience. It helps people gain a better understanding of their likes, dislikes, and wants for the future. It also gives them valuable hands-on experience and allows them to apply what they’ve learned in school to a certain career field.
In today’s hyper-competitive job market, internships are becoming a must-have on almost every job applicant’s CV. Students who had completed an internship, when compared with those who did not, we’re better at making effective career decisions. The study found this is because students figured out their own personal priorities and how this affects their career decisions. Insight into the realities of a profession helped them learn whether it aligned with their personal values and sometimes the internship told them quite clearly which career pathway not to take. So Internship helps students to give a better shape to their careers and today we will talk about Student Perspective for Internship.
Student Perspective for Internship. One of the key experiences recommended during your time as an undergraduate is doing an internship. Gaining work experience is key for boosting your employability, especially as a business student. That’s why, after my second year at Hult, I chose to go back home to the Democratic Republic of the Congo, to intern for a part of the summer.

We all know that practical experience is the best, and internships give students that hands-on experience they need. Student Perspective for Internship. I feel that quality internships are essential to develop key skills that you can’t get in a classroom. Skills such as multitasking, communicating, learning to deal with diversity, and dealing with deadlines are different when you are working for someone else, not yourself like you do in college. Internships are also a great way to network with people in the industry. My boss and co-workers were great about giving me contacts and referring me to open positions in the industry.”
Student Perspective for Internship. A Student said “I learned that customer service is hard. You can not please everyone. There are people in this world that are simply difficult. I have learned that stressing over little things will not get me anywhere. I have learned to work well as a team and that without my counterparts the work would not get done. Another aspect that I learned throughout my internship is to never be afraid to ask lots of questions. By asking questions I got answers.”
Student Perspective for Internship. Another Student said One of the most important things you can gain from an internship is newfound knowledge. This can include knowing how to fulfil tasks that are relevant to your desired career path and sharpening the skills that you already possess. One of the most valuable skills you will gain from an internship is the ability to speak with people in a professional setting. Online internships after examining best practices in hospitality internships. Learning the ins and outs of an industry virtually, using contemporary internship methods strengthens the student’s expertise and better prepares them for future workplace environments. this is the Student Perspective for Internship. Researchers find value in the virtual component of the internship experience, yet, none of them connect the use of the virtual experience to one that is conducted on the ground as well. Existing self-regulated learning models and virtual internship models do not integrate a ground-based component. Existing hospitality internship frameworks do not incorporate a distance learning component. The increase of virtual internships is beneficial to developing student confidence, building relationships, and mirroring their real-life experience in the workplace. Furthermore, real-world experiences can be more important for online students when they graduate and go into the workforce. Thus, a new framework had to be created to integrate distance learning with ground-based internships in the hospitality industry. You can learn Hospital and Hotel courses.
Schools using this model will enable students to gain valuable experience and interviewing skills, build confidence and professionalism to seek and find an internship that is germane to their passion.
