130+ students attended CPR workshop, life saviour session by Team Aashayein at JECRC

Team Aashayein, JECRC University organized CPR and basic life support workshop in association with Mahatma Gandhi Hospital. Team Aashayein is working since 16 years to fulfill requirement of blood and sdp. As a social arm of JECRC, this camp was initiated to aware people about the sudden emergencies which can be a life savior moment.

Shuchita Vaya along with her team from Mahatma Gandhi trained students about CPR and taught them life saving techniques which are the need of an hour and can be performed by anyone if they are aware of it. The mandatory instructions given during the workshop by the doctors were it should be performed on a flat and safe surface. Firstly one need to check the respective person is responding or not then check his pulse and continue the process.CPR pressure should not be continued for more than 2 minutes and mostly performed at times when a person is collapsed and his pulse stops.

Amit Agrawal( Chairperson, JECRC University ) stated that these frequent  awareness sessions will help students to handle emergency situations and motivate them to be a life savior.
